Three Free Lead Sources for Realtors

Updated: Mar 27

Are you a newer realtor looking to take your career to the next level? Lead generation is the name of the game! Unfortunately there is no "easy button" in real estate, but with dedication to working the lead sources below, you will be sure to grow your business. 1. Work Your Sphere: I know you've heard it before, but working your sphere of influence holds the key to a lasting real estate business. Referrals from your sphere are like gold that you don't have to pay for. Stay in front of your customers, friends, family, past co-workers, etc. etc. with regular contact. Stop by with a pop by. Shoot a text. Meet up for coffee. Engage on social media. Whatever you do, just make sure you are asking for business.

"Hi! I was just in your neighborhood & was thinking of you. I hope you're doing well! If you come across anyone thinking about a move, please keep me in mind. I'd love to help your family & friends."

Don't have a sphere yet? Get one! Join a networking group. Become active in a club. Volunteer 2. Host an Open House: Don't have a listing of your own yet? Ask a colleague to host an open house on one of their listings. Capture the contact info of unrepresented buyers and FOLLOW UP! Provide something of value -- your buyer guide, a list of mortgage lenders, a list of other similar active listings, etc. 3. Work Your Socials: It doesn't pay to be a "secret agent." Whether creating a separate business page or using your personal socials, be sure to post regularly about real estate. Post pictures of pretty houses that you're showing. Post when mortgage rates drop. Post the link of a high end home in your market. So, what are you waiting for? Get out there and start prospecting!
